Did you know...?

An olympic pool that is 25 meters wide with a minimum depth of 2.0 meters at all parts of the course and is 50 meters in length would hold approximately 2,500,000 liters (over 660,430 gallons).

Quote for the Week of June 30, 2008

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

~Mark Twain [Samuel Clemens] (1835-1910), humorist, essayist, novelist

Show your team spirit. Come by, relax and enjoy!

Dear Dynoswimmers,

You are invited to a Dynoswim Pool Party at my house Saturday, July 19th - 1:30pm. All Dynoswimmers and family members are invited.

We will provide the beer, soda, chips and utensils. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite dish (or two) and if you like drinks besides beer, please feel free to BYOB. Blender and ice available.

This will be a fun way to get to know our newer members and get better acquainted with our "older" ones.

Don't forget your bathing suits! Caps and goggles optional.

Judi

Did you know...?

FINA regulations call for pools to be between 77 and 80 degrees for meets. On a daily basis though, this range is considered to be too cold for practice. For example, the National Team in Colorado Springs practices at 81ยบ, considered by medical researchers to be ideal for elite level training.
